Your (pre-)onboarding process with us starts here!
At West Coast Supply Group we believe that a good onboarding is of high value for a succesful, long lasting relationship between you and us. This is why we take our onboarding procedure very seriously and so shoud you!
Have a look at what you can expect from us and what we expect from you.
We cannot wait to get started we hope you feel the same!
What can you expect?
Phase 1: The 'pre-onboarding'
Once you have signed the contract, you will receive an email from (y)our HR team asking you to create a short introduction of yourself.
It is important that you send this as we can't wait to intorduce you to the company!
You will receive a second email from (y)our HR team with the core values of West Coast Supply Group.
The third email will come from your manager introducing themselves.
Then an email from your direct colleagues.
Lastly you will receive an email from HR giving you the final instructions on your first day at the office.
Phase 2: The first days at the office
Upon arrival (9 AM) you can report yourself to the reception. They will give you your goody bag. Shortly after you will be picked up by your manager or an assigned person.
IMPORTANT: Have a look at your AFAS account, you will have several tasks waiting for you to complete. Completing these tasks is mandatory as they are vital to your safety at the office.
Phase 3: The onboarding presentations
In your goody bag you will find an onboarding schedule with several presentations to attend. The date and time are also in your outlook agenda. All of these presentations are mandatory as they are an integral part of your succefull onboarding and further carreer here at West Coast Supply Group. Make sure to attend them all!
IMPORTANT; the onboarding presentations are scheduled for the start of the month. If you join us in the middle of a month you will be invited for the onboarding presentations in the upcoming month.
Phase 4: The first month at West Coast Supply Group
Your first month (the probation period) is full of impressions and new learnings. Make sure to stay in close contact with your manager. The manager has an obligation to sit with you after your first week to talk about how you are fitting in and what can be expected (this goes both ways). After 30 days you will have another "one-on-one" catch-up with your manager to discuss the next few months of your employment.
Help yourself and your manager by making sure these "one-on-ones" take place.
